When it comes to power supplies, FSP is probably one of the names that would come to mind. Along with power supplies, FSP also tackles cases as well as UPS backups. Now, they’ve made a big leap as they now make their first steps in handling CPU cooling systems thus bringing the birth of the Windale 4 as well as the Windale 6 CPU coolers.
The Windale 4 and 6 will be the first of its kind in FSP’s venture in the world of cooling systems. Seeing that the world of cooling system is already populated with numerous companies and providers, FSP seems to be reluctant that their reputation – especially with regards to PSU’s can help them establish a good number of followers.
The Windale 4 is a compact sized cooling system without paint while its later version the WIndale 6 is a lot bigger and almost doubles the size of the Windale 4. Also, the Windale 6 has a snazzier look with aluminum alloy block that is painted black.
Each of these new CPU coolers from FSP is equipped with heat pipes which are connected with the CPU. Additionally, they are built with a 120 mm fan which is noise-proof including anti-vibration rubber that reduces shakes or vibration. The best thing about getting the Windale 6 is that you’ll have a bonus blue LED illumination that comes with your package.
Both these new coolers from FSP can work with a wide array of sockets for AMD as well as Intel processors and even the Ryzen from AM4.
Although it hasn’t been tested internally, the Windale 6 is found by TechPowerUp to be competitive with the modern CPU coolers and even thought to work even better.
